YouTubing It #24: The Series Six Edition
Alarmingly, Space didn’t include this at the end of their broadcast of A Christmas Carol Boxing Day (or, perhaps more alarmingly, weren’t given it by the BBC), but here is what is termed in entertainment circles the “sizzle reel” for what you can expect when the series comes back this spring—it was included with the UK and American broadcasts.
Meanwhile BBC America has this simply awesome trailer specially made during the location shoot in Utah where the Doctor and Amy talk to the camera about where they are…

That trailer looks like there’s some exciting stuff coming up…plenty of River (yay!) and the Ood are back!
And now they’ve got’America’ out of the way, we need some bigtime Canadian references so they can do special promos for Space. Come on Moffat - get that thinking cap on!

I love that BBC America trailer! And I agree, Canada has to be next. Yeah, I know they shot the TV movie in Vancouver, but can you imagine the Doctor taking on Sontarans at the Calgary Stampede? Daleks in Old City Quebec? Heck, how about an episode set on an arctic tundra planet shot in Nunavut? I’m not picky!

People really like that US one? I thought that was the worst trailer ever myself. The Doctor completely oblivious and stupid is always a bad thing.

No not the trailer for BBC America, the trailer for the next series was the one I liked.
The comment about the America thing was meant to be separate from that.
